GLITCH OUT is made by gg_banana_man (Jayden) and Kaimune. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit glitch-out.com or play the game. The short version: we don't collect personal data, set cookies, or run ads or tracking.
This website
There are no accounts, forms, cookies, ads or tracking scripts on glitch-out.com. We don't collect or store any personal information about you.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We don't use this to identify you.
Fonts and the embedded video
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
The Brackeys showcase video is embedded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When the video loads, your browser connects to YouTube, and YouTube may store data on your device if you play it.
Links to other sites
Links to itch.io, Discord, YouTube and Steam take you to services we don't control. Their own privacy policies apply there.
The game
GLITCH OUT doesn't collect personal data. It has no analytics, crash reporting or ads, and it never sends anything about you to us.
It saves your music and sound-effect volume on your own device so they stick between sessions. You can clear them by deleting the game's local data.
The free jam version is distributed by itch.io, and the Steam version will be distributed by Valve. Their privacy policies cover their stores, downloads and accounts.
Emailing us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we don't share it.
Children
We don't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes and contact
If what we collect ever changes, for example if we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
